Reservations and payments

What do I have to pay at the time of reservation? When do I pay the remainder?

A deposit of 50% of the reservation cost will be required at the time of booking. The remainder is due at the end of your stay during check-out.

If I don't have a credit card, how can I pay the reservation deposit?

Those who do not have a credit card can still make a reservation using the "bank transfer" mode and must make the payment within 3 days.

What means of payment are possible at your campground?

Cash: Swiss francs and euros throughout the entire campsite.

Credit cards: EC/MC, Postcard, Visa, Diners, AMEX. We also accept Reka-Card and Reka-Checks.

How do I reserve a specific place: parcel number or unit number?

The reservation guarantees the right to reserve a category, with the assignment of the place number made during check-in.

If a specific pitch or bungalow number is desired, it can be requested at the time of booking for an additional fee of CHF 35. This request is subject to availability and will be granted upon confirmation.

Can a berth be reserved at the port? How do I proceed if I arrive with my own boat?

The campground has a dedicated harbor for your boats. You can reserve a berth, subject to availability. For more information and to see the price list, click here

Are dogs allowed on your campsite?

We are sorry but dogs are not allowed in our campground.

Do you have Wi-Fi on the campsite?

Yes, the entire camping area has free Wi-Fi.

I own a large 10-meter-long motorhome. Do you have places that big?

Yes. Motorhomes longer than 9.50 meters and taller than 3.60 meters can only occupy a space in the XXL comfort pitches.

Regulations

We are two couples and would like to come with 1 car and two small tents. Can we occupy only one plot?

Unfortunately, no. In accordance with the rules and regulations of the campground, a parcel can be occupied by a maximum of 5 people and only one means of accommodation: 1 tent, 1 camper or 1 caravan. An additional igloo tent (maximum height of 1.50 meters) may be installed for children under 16 years old only.

Do you accept minors, groups, or school classes?

Our camp is dedicated to families, so we do not accept reservations from minors, groups or school groups.

Can I visit someone staying at Campofelice? Yes. Day visitors must register at the reception; short visits (up to 45 minutes) are free, longer visits require a fee (from age 4). Guests are responsible for their visitors and their behaviour on the campsite.
Is it possible to spend a day at your campsite without staying overnight? Yes, it is possible to purchase a day pass for CHF 30 (from age 4), which grants access to the campsite and all its facilities.

What are the reception opening hours like?

Our reception is open throughout the season, every day, from 7 AM to 10 PM without interruption (until 8 PM in the Winter season).

Camping:
Check-in: from 1 PM to 10 PM*.
Check-out: from 7:30 AM to 11 AM

Housing units:
Check-in: from 4 PM to 10 PM*
Check-out: from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM
Check-out: from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM

* until 8 PM in the Winter season

Hotel:
Low season check-in: from 3 PM to 5 PM
High season check-in: from 2 PM to 7 PM
Hotel check-out: from 7:30 AM to 11 PM

Apartments:
Low season check-in: from 3 PM to 5 PM
High season check-in: from 3 PM to 7 PM
Check-out: from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM

Transportation

We travel by train. How far is your campsite from the train station?

The train station is 1.5 km from the campsite. Throughout the season, bus line No. 1 is available, with the 'Tenero Brere' stop located directly at the campsite entrance. In July and August, in addition to bus No. 1, a free shuttle bus operates, albeit with a limited number of daily runs.

How can I get the digital Ticino Ticket?

To obtain the Ticino Ticket in digital format, you must have an email address and a smartphone. You will receive a link via email two days before your arrival. After completing the registration, the ticket will be sent to you via email and will be valid as of check-in.

The Ticino Ticket allows you to use all public transportation free of charge for the entire duration of your stay and benefit from discounts on cable cars, boats in Swiss reservoirs, and major tourist attractions throughout the Canton.
